  • Reinforced Concrete Pipe typically fails due to separated or shifting joints, which results in both leakage and water infiltration. This can occur over years of soil movement or traffic loads, and even during original construction.
  • National Gunite has several ways to economically spot repair only the defective joints, unlike expensive cured-in-place resin liners which unnecessarily cover perfectly sound pipe.
  • Reinforced gunite can be applied to only the joints, completely sealing them from both leakage and infiltration. An alternate method is to use pre-manufactured mechanical seals. National Gunite is an approved applicator/installer of Hydratite Seals, a world leader in pipe sealing systems.
